EZ root update ZIP for s802 (all) "Stock ROM" ROMs

trying on the new update to root it but it gives me an error that the package can't be verified

sorry i did this all wrong and got it working is there anything else i need to do for this tv box i had the s82 put the fw from transmart vega elite did this root patch and have xbmc ... still having some problems with playstore apps and wifi in xbmc is not great

Well you down loaded the zip did'nt you? Just put it as is on the sdcard

i have followed the instructions but i can not seem to root the device ..i have a micro sd card which i use and i have the elite version the problem im having is when get the zip from the top thread it opens on my pc with 2 folders meta inf and system i have copied and placed them on my micro sd when i try to update nothing is showin ? please help

Do not extract the zip. Put the zip as is on SD card use updater to get you to recovery mode (or it will just apply update and reboot automatically).

No, please re-install the stock ROM as my instructions said.
The easy root uses a different method to root. It uses install-recovery script which is not permanent and you can loose root if other things decide to modify that script. My ROM uses an edit to init.rc which cannot be changed by an APP. This is the correct way to root a device.
