Marketing guys do Marketing things -->down others up itself
Engineer guys do engineered things-->receive feedback and fixed bugs

Minix, why you say me a liar?
1.I know rk release the latest hw new reference design on 20140806,mainly modify for SD/eMMC/SDIO....We've already merged into our next version ..and I think it's not key modification.
And we are talking about testing here, not MP release, not preorder..

2.I've already posted here couple hours ago, that RK fixed the HDMI2.0 problem by modified software..

The only thing I am not sure is whether HDMI2.0 available in China,so I said "it seems no possible buy one TV supporting HDMI2.0 in China"..
OK,could you do me a favor to tell me how to get one from China?
I'm not a marketing guy at all. I am managing the whole engineering team.

HDMI 2.0 can't be just fixed by software.

Buy the TV from 3C mall, don't tell me you don't know Suning or Gome. Just bring the cash, go there and:

This is my "how to buy a TV guide" for you.
    Favour is given. Good luck.

I think more important are the frequencies at GPU and RAM then CPU.

At rk3188 they are using max 798 at GPU and max 800 (also 667 or 720) at RAM (I think 1704 at CPU is good enough if we run into a temperature problem at the SoC)....

RK just released new reference design, they called it the "final", I'm not 100% sure about that this time is really the final but those hardware flaws just can't be solved by software.

HDMI 2.0 - 4K@60Hz? It works. The TV is cheap (<US$1,300) and is readily available in China.

Time to move on redesigning the hardware, good luck.

Sad to see @MINIX corresponding like this. When X5 was launched he was really harsh when answering disapointed users, after a while he got more and more professionell and much more calm when giving replies. I bought both X5 and X8h, i have been happy with both (specially with the X8h). I think Minix is a top player when it comes to Android tv players. But..

Your reply to Oman today was really sad to read. Minix, your products are nice, just focus on your own game and keep up the good work. Oman has been really transparent and have a good setup with us beta testers helping to improve the product. If someone is not telling the truth, the future will reveal them. You will gain more with corperation rather then conquer. I hope Minix that you can see your previous posting as a mistake and post an apologize to Oman. Take care both of you
