Also Strange - I tried to switch to ART

I am running a completely bloated Pipo version just to see what happens, so far it seems to be as stable as Randy's - and I get the Chinese crap for my daughter, so she is happy as well! I am looking forward to an upgrade to 4.4.4 which may well sort out the idle battery drain issues!! - The OTA seems to be working here in China, but I am not sure if I have had any new stuff yet.
Since it has been acting flaky, I figured what the hell ...try ART...I select it and it reboots..
It should be a longer boot depending on the amount of apps it has to compile. But it is a regular reboot and you go into the dev options and it is still in Dalvik runtime...Not sure if it is our ROM or a PIPO or a permissions issues...Any ideas..

Also this reboot thing is getting to me.....ready to send it across the ocean...on a slow boat....

    Thank you.

While it is possible, it's very unlikely. If it's worked for everybody else, it should work for you. That file has been downloaded thousands of times.

I'm at work, on a choked down public wifi connection, so I will have to wait until I get home in the morning to investigate.

For the same reason I can't check it tonight...I can't provide you with an alternative link. Please stay tuned and I can get you an answer....in about 8-10 hours from now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Like I said, I'm not expecting much more from Pipo for this device...but if you do notice an update...let me know and I can walk you through the process...it's really easy with the tool that's included in all of my ROM kits.

I would if I could, but I am not sure how to dump FROM the tablet to a PC?? If I spot an update on the Pipo website of course, but if it arrives by magical airwaves to the tablet I am not sure how to. I am also off to the UK for two weeks tomorrow, so will be out of the loop for a while.

    Pipo M9Pro w/Chainfire3D ?

Chainfire3D is an intermediary OpenGL driver. What does that mean? It means that Chainfire3D sits between your apps and the graphics drivers, and can intercept and/or change commands between the two. It has some built-in functions, and can be further extended with plugins to provide extra functionality.
Has anyone tried this app out ?

I have always liked what chainfire develops but you never know when you add the Pipo into the mix..
