I get freezing on Finless 1.6. The ROM is great but once you install apps and start multitasking that's where I've seen freezing. I'm not talking about a second or two but 30sec to 2min of hang ups. Something is up with Kernel I think. The ROM is getting better and I guess but we will just have to be patient.

Thank you all for your answers.I updated my vega s89 and the freezing problem was minimized but not eliminated. I hope that in a future update this problem will stop. If anybody finds another solution let us know

Finally this issue gets some publicity! All the ROMs I've tried stock or finless I get a global lag when the system stays idle for more than 5-10 seconds. I'm talking about moving between home screens, opening an app from idle or even moving the mouse.
It even gets worse when I'm running at the same time a cpu temp monitoring tool. For example try running https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...yanyan.cputemp and overlay the temp to the notification bar and leave it for 5-10 secs. Then try to move the mouse. You get lag for about 500ms to 1 sec. You can also notice this when you open an app e.g. play store. Everything lags for a little while before it gets butter smooth.
I tried running a process manager, but nothing suspicious is noticed apart from some debugging messages. Running a process manager AND the temp tool the lag becomes even worse!
I get the best performance by eliminating EVERY background process AND flashing the stock kernel provided by Bob (cpu_fix_stock.zip). Then the initial lag becomes bearable.
All this suggest a bad designed kernel if we add the issue of temps going up and down saw-tooth like readings. I guess what we have to do is wait for a kernel by Lokie...
