Your are unzipping my ROM download and following the readme correct?
If you put my download directly on SD and try to flash it, it will fail with a signature issue.

yeah - I tried every possible method and followed it to the letter! I can't obviously use the update app, because my box isn't capable of starting into anything else then recovery...

Been on it for hours... I think something went horribly wrong and now the tronsmart isn't flashable anymore because even with the stock rom firmware -> verification fail...

is there a way to re-flash the recovery? maybe something in the recovery is causing that problem...

Leave Moborobo aside ...

After you install that one , try the sequence :

->Make sure your vega s89 device is power off
->use the micro usb cable to connect vega s89 with PC.
->use the toothpick to press the update button(hide in the AV port hole), and at the same time,
->connect the power adapter with vega s89,
->press the power on button(keep press the update button during this time), and then the burning tool will find a new usb device !!!

After that you should be able to flash an .img file of your choice !!!

... I tried three pc's now - my little box won't talk to any pc via the USB Cable (i plugged it in the usb otg port)
I installed MoboRobo, but this software can't "find" the box either...

Which windows version do you use? It seams so, that it at win8.1 doesn't work, maybe win8 also...

Maybe try to use another OTG cable...

Normally moborobo is the one that always works (at correct windows version)...

1. Do I understand it correct, that your box only and automatically boots straigt to recovery?
2. And the manually install of one of the Finless versions (also stock as zip) don't flash?
BTW: If 1. = yes, than, I think, but not sure, you are not able to install the drivers...

Tried it exactly like you suggested... no sign that anything is plugged into the usb port... I even tried annother micro usb cable....

yeah - I initially tried it on my main pc with windows 8.1 64 bit - but my laptop running on windows 7 64 bit should work - and it doesn't unfortunatly -.-
And no - my box does not boot directly into recovery... when I start the box without the update button inside the AV port then the finless splashscreen from version 1.6 comes up and then the picture goes black on the TV... I've waited for something to happen, but the box seems freezed! But the long press on the power button is still able to turn the box off.

I try to flash the roms like so:
I put the "k200-ota-20140617.zip" and "recovery.img" in the root directory of my microSD card and plug the microSD Card into the box. Then I disconnect the Power Plug, reconnect it and hold with a toothpick the update button. I still hold it while i press the power button and wait for the splashscreen to appear. 3 seconds later i release both buttons and after a few seconds the recovery menu shows up. I select "apply update from EXT" -> "update from sdcard" and choose the "k200-ota-20140617.zip"... The update process starts, but stops with the errormessage:

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed

everytime with every rom I threw at the box... Initially it worked with the finless 1.6 rom, but after the installation I waited 25 minutes but the box didn't boot properly... So I turned it off and tried to flash the stock rom back - but now no flashing is possible...

I still absolutly don't get why this USB connection won't work....
But is there still hope guys? Maybe when I try annother PC/Laptop - is it possible to flash via USB without this verification??!

You should have 3 files on your sd card !!! Re download your files !! Something obviously went wrong there !!!

Also you will NOT say to your reset interface which is your sip file with the 3-file root method !!! It should automatically begin the procedure without you pointing it to the zip files !!! Pointing to a zip file is done when you have a single, correct zip file for all the flash procedure!! In your case the files you have should be placed on the root and the procedure will start by itself !!!! You are doing it wrong the way you are describing it !!!!

nothing went wrong - i did this on purpose... the factory_update_param.aml starts the update right away without the manual start... see the readme - that's the variation that the mod author himself considers the best, because all errors are clearly readable ^^

of course i tried it with the factory_update_param.aml in place - same outcome...

Ah ok .. but I wouldn't call that a bug .. it's simply not a supported feature. On my phone I really need it but on this device I don't thik I will ever meet the limitations that I have without App2sd.

Be more descriptive on your "bugs". Apps2sd will show you applications that can run on sd, and allow you to run apps (that can be run off sd) off your sd. As far as "copying" apps, I copy all sorts of file formats to my sd with no problem.

With app2sd you can move part of the app(not all).

Try move2sd ennabler....this allow you to move all the app. Let me know of it works
