    Suggestions for a better keyboard/mouse?

    Hi,
the neo m1 its absolutely horrible. The air function its frustrating, cant use it at all.

Does anyone know the best compact mouse/keyboard combo?

    Thanks.

I'm using a Thinkpad compact bluetooth keyboard and apart from occassional cursor drift (problem with the keyboard itself, not the x8) it's great.

This is rather expensive (i had it before i purchased the x8) but if you type a lot, it may be worth it. bluetooth works fine and once paired it connects fast.

There are plenty of other bluetooth devices around, cheaper and smaller, maybe something from logitechs dinovo brand fits your needs?

The ipazzport is great. Beware that there are different versions. You should get the one with learning ir remote on the back.

I have a Logitech mouse and keyboard combo as well, and have used an HP combo too. Really any wireless combo is great as they use one dongle for both devices (keyboard and mouse). I agree with the Neo M1...that is a conversation piece and not much else. Thank goodness it was a freebie. Personally I stick to keyboard and mouse for my navigation, and xbox wireless for my gaming!

hehehe, after a wile I understand what you mean... the device on and off... yes, if you buy this one with learning IR (without -A in the name) you can use the IR for this (I use it for my TV to switch the HDMI-Ports and some other things...)

                    Thanks bought one.
Do you know anything about the CEC feature? On the settings I can turn that on but when i turn the minix on, nothing else turns on.
I have sony tv and sony av. CEC works with satellite box.

                        Hi,
got the remote but the air mouse is not good, the same as the neo m1.
The problem is i am pointing at the tv but cant get it where i want it.
                        Its going back.

OK... I use it always in landscape, so I have to use both hands, and every thing is fine...
Maybe the "one hand" using is also the problem at the M1...

You guys just don't understand how the mouse is supposed to work and have unrealistic expectations. The mouse can't have the ability to be mapped to the screen without other sensors /emitters a la the wii. It works using a gyroscope/accelerometer which means that your movements are registered, but are not directly related to cursor movement which is why you can go to the screen edges to reset the mouse position.

I actually like the Neo M1 mouse. Although I have not owned an air mouse before. It just lacks a keyboard.
