Hi Shomari, thanks for your great work and support. I flashed your rom and oc kernel on a genuine MK808 and connected a usb ethernet dongle. It boots just fine, the only problem is the ethernet dongle doesn't work. In the settings it shows the correct mac address, but it won't get an IP from my dhcp server. I also tried a static IP, but in network status it shows unknown network. Could it be the kernel was not compiled for popular usb ethernet dongles? Mine is an Edimax EU-4208 which has an ASIX AX88772B chipset.
EDIT1: When using an ethernet usb dongle one must replug the ethernet cable in order to get a valid IP when dongle connected to standard size USB. If dongle connected to OTG port at the side it will automatically get an IP
EDIT2: the 1920x1080 screen resolution doesn't work with a MK808 (which could be expected I think)
EDIT3: Antutu score is 14889 (1280x720)Last edited by jockyw2001; 27 September 2014, 12:21. Reason: new solution forethernet usb dongle IP problem

MUCHAS GRACIAS
From Argentina, thank you very much.
I have a J21 with RK3066 and your ROM runs perfect.
I do ROOT cost, but with patience I could do it.
Apply KINGO with the device connected to the tv and I did.
Congratulations and thank you very much from here by aporte.-

I try this rom with my original MK808b (RK3066 chip, WF/BT RK903) but after flash room with Rockchip batch tool v1.7, boot ok but have a blinking screen with an small android in upper left corner (I think the initial setup screnn).
I try with Androidtool v2.1, erashing flash and upgrade the room, but same blinking screen after boot.
In bot cases I can enter into the settings and WiFi is disabled and NO bt by the way. There is no way that I can check any other thing because the blinkng screen.
Flashed BalintBanyasz KERNEL (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post214775), now boot OK, I can enable WiFi but the performance sucks (almos 5.000 lees in antutu).
Anybody have succes installing in MK808b the 4.4.2 room ???? (RK3066 chip, WF/BT RK903)
There is another room that I can try ???
Best regards.

remember to read and read some more!
But I am really read all your posts before I wrote my request and were valuable for me!
But because I feel that you giving up from trying and because I read a solved such a problem in an other thread ( http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...mp-External-SD )
So, I "decid" to asked such a question!
Now, surly, and unfortunately, I will switch back to the finless 1.7a because my usage for the stick is mainly for gaming and I am really want a huge size of memory space for that and I tried folder mount application for moving data to my hard desk but it didn't work!
Thank you for this nice ROM

I just upgraded my UG007II from Finless ROM to this Kitkat rom.
Everything works well. WIFI is very stable and has high performance.
But there is only one problem: No audio in all mode.
I guess that the kernel does not support my Audio chip.
Does anybody else encounter the same problem or have a solution for me?
Thanks in advance for your help,
sviet
Sorry you have no sound. I still have one tv stick with the same problem; luckily all my others work fine with this ROM.

For those that are trying to move the NAND and SDCARD around you cannot.
I did however make progress on that front.
go back to page 11 and start reading all my posts and you will see that I am now sitting with an 8gig SDcard containing the installed apps extra stuff and the NAND sitting at 6gb for app installation.
The only item I could not figure out with the .android security crap. No matter what I changed apps that require security still install to the NAND.
I stopped trying after a bit as none of the apps I was downloading where going to the directory.
I have since rearranged the SDcard and now have all my apps installing to a 740gig USB driver connected to a hub. but that is only the extra downloads the primary portion of the app still installs to the NAND but it is not 6gb instead of 2.
remember to read and read some more!

in finless 1.7 rom I swapped internal memory with the usb storage by changing in the vold.fstab file which was found in system\etc... but her, in kitkat, and as I read, the vold file is in boot.img, and really I didnt have the required tools for unpacking the boot.img !!!
so please Bob, make one for this rom and for the rom in pda forum. your help is too appreciated!!
thank you

Unfortunately it's a bit unstable, every hour or so the screen will go dark (not turn off) and the device will hang requiring me to reboot it.
Is there a kernel source for RK3066 devices with kitkat available somewhere?
