Excited to see what 1.6b has to offer

Side note about gamepads and bluetooth:

Has any one had any experience with the ipega gamepad (or any other for that matter) and latency/lag issue with the M8/M8N box? Im currently running version 1.5 and there's a terrible lag when pressing button on emulators rending it unplayable. Im putting it down to the bluetooth hardware or firmeware/driver as it works perfect on my samsung galaxy note.

Any advice would be much appreciated :P

Lets put it this way Keypad in 1.6 ultra responsive! the Antutu rating for 1.6? now one can only imagine what a storm is brewing in that teacup... rock on 1.6B

The keypad works on its own hardware via the dongle. Surely the Bluetooth and game pad work separately to that? Or am I wrong?

Well 1.6b seems to be running well but after a bit more use and testing, I am not so sure that gamepads are working. I couldn't get my Logitech gamepad to work and got busybox not found errorrs on Trickster Mod CPU app and a few others. I updated busybox and gamepads still aren't working but Trickster Mod works haha.

with a simple short press of the power button on the m8's supplied remote... puts the unit right to sleep

Long press on the power button reboots the unit

personally havent tried it.. but in the 'change log' it does state:

V1.6B Media Edition for m8 30/12/2014

Fixes

- SD Card write now working
- Slow net speeds fixed
- Google play services fixed
- Game pads now working
- Power wake up / Sleep fixed
- Few other tweaks

Hmmm I was on 1.4 before this and gamepads work but 1.6b my gamepad doesn't. Weird!
