I honestly have no idea other than bad, old, slow SDcards may not work! Are you able to flash any ROM? like stock?

I have same problem with same MXIII 1/8gb device. Stock 111k4 was successfully flashed from SD card, but not yours firmware, that perfectly work on round S82 2gb from same card.

Although I'll have to test TWRP myself. If it freezes, that would be a problem.

Yes, the only way i was able to revive my box from recovery boot loop was the following:
Downloaded your rom
Extracted the stock recovery zip file and flashed it
Downloaded stock 112 from oman forum and copied just the 112 rom zip to my SD card
Entered stock recovery with toothpick method
Did full wipe on stock recovery
Chose instal zip from EXT and Flashed the stock rom 112 from my sd card
Install took about 3 minutes
completed and rebooted
all ok

Do you have any idea why i cant get your rom on my box ? Like i wrote before the stock 112 installed OK, when i try your rom it starts to install it just freezes, i have the MXIII 1g/8g...

OK just an update, i flashed stock recovery back onto the box. booted into stock recovery, Wiped everything and installed stock 112 from oman forum . Install went OK and box is alive again For some reason it will not accpet bobs rom i dont understand it... I was afraid my box was dead but its working now. Maybe something not compatible with finless rom on the 1g/8g ?

did you try to format first the sd card ? some times helps (something like sd card bug), try to re download the rom if not , try to flash the stock rom with the same method else you have to try with usb burning tool

of course I format sd card, also i am successfully install stock 111k4 from this card.
I think firmware not compatible with MXIII 1/8Gb... No problem with stock.

you can always try the sd method with reset button or with the usb burning tool witch box you have

1) SD Card update.
1.1Download the firmware, and you will usually get three files: [U][B]factory update
param.aml; recovery.img and one ZIP file[/B][/U].
1.[U][B]2Copy all files [/B][/U](factory_update_param.aml recovery.img, u-boot.bin and one
ZIP file) to one SD card;
1.3 Make sure [U][B]your device is powered off and power cable removed[/B][/U].
1.4 Insert SD card with extracted files in root directory.
1.5 [U][B]Insert a match or a toothpick to Reset button – you will feel a click[/B][/U]. (the
reset button is in the AV hole in the back)
1.6 Power on the box by inserting power cable, while holding the
match in the reset hole at the same time.
1.7 It will boot to recovery and start installing ROM. Good. It will restart when
finished (you can connect with HDMI cable, so you can see the update process
in your tv or monitor)

for the method with usb burning tool you have to download USB burning tool the Rom in *img and flash it (recommended to wipe everything )

Stuck in recovery and wont flash rom...

So i followed the suggestions on the forum, i flashed TWRP recovery and it went OK, i did wipe and reboot again into recovery to flash the rom, but it wont install, it starts to flash the rom and just freezes in TWRP. Now i have a big problem because the box wont reboot into the O.S. it only reboots into TWRP recovery, i cannot flash anything because it keeps freezing when i try to flash the rom so did i just kill my BOX ??? Anyone can help me ?

I can't find SETTINGS in the Apps menu, only a widget.

Is that normal?

i never had settings since 108k4, there are 2 ways i can access it, the mbox settings, other more settings. or on my mouse if i press and hold the scroll wheel widgets/settings appears.
