I received stock image firmware from my M8S support, filename aml_upgrade_package.img . But with instruction how i need flash it via Amlogic Burning Tool. But i don't have usb otg cable. Does it possible to convert this image that it can be flashed from SD card?

Ive installed "OpenELEC-Amlogic.S806-S812.arm-5.0.8.zip" but when press the power button on the remote, it turns of my M8S but the blue light comes on and when the box is on the light is off?

I am using the latter (http://pan.baidu.com/s/1dDdD565) and have noticed some random crashes and issues with the remote. Wondering if worth trying the other one.

Why eny has to post their software on Baidu knowing full well that bigger files require the use of some Chinese downloader program or you going about setting up a cloud account with baidu to get the file... smaller files usually you can get without a account but bigger files are a pain in the butt...

anways... ive had issues with both of those files and I see some of the eny resellers pushing stane's software which is much more stable then eny's stuff
