I got an m8 amlogic 802 I tried to flash it with openelec but it wont go into recovery I also tried the reboot.apk no luck I even tried to reset the box and it wont reset any idea how i can flash this been searching all night did other m8 no issues whatsoever

Have you tried System > Openelec scroll to the bottom, theres a hard and soft reset there -
no I didnt actually have openelec on it I was trying to put it on it but I finally did get it odd thing was the regular M8 2gb files wouldn't work I got files from the guy I bought it fromOriginally posted by micksters View PostComment

did the guy give you openelec or the stock firmware that boots into android? if it's the stock, do you have a link or did he copy the file for you on a usb? I'm having similar issue, box won't go into recovery and if I try factory resetting the box all it does is reboot the box.Originally posted by piperider View PostComment
