Try to load into flash mode, but after reload nothing happen

Dear reader, i just downloaded verion 1.7 for my UG802.The readme file is really good reading , but when i try to reload into flash mode, the ug802 is shutting down, but not coming back. No signal on my tv, and also no signal (usb) on my computer.I tried it serveral times, but no luck. The readme explains to go back with step 7, but i'm really shure that i takes this steps a serveral times. Is there any solution for this you guys think? any help i will appriciate.

This is a bit tricky but on this forum i found out how to do it. The issue that makes this happen is either using a usb hub or using the front usb ports on your pc. The other issue is using high speed usb instead of normal speed under your bios settings. Change that, now heres where the fun starts. You will have to open the device to go into a mask boot mode. You will see the rockchip cpu then when you flip it over there is another chip. thats the nand memory that holds everything. You will see 2 very small solder joints next to it. use a paper clip and short the 2 out. You have to do this while plugging in the usb. The micro usb that is. Dont have anything else connected through usb but that and usb speed to normal or whatever it says under bios. After that is done it will say it found it and then go on with flashing again. Im actually sending this using the ug802 on finless 1.7. Follow these steps and you will have done it successfully This will work trust me lol

For now im gonna be to crazy, and wanna throw something out of the window haha.

          Sounds like power supply issues!

hi, i was hope so, but the strange thing is that i always used the same poweradapter.for now i changed him with another one, but no luck... when the dashboard shows up i see under in the right some informational message with interal storage, and then is goes back to the r-box logo

Just as finless wrote - this behaviour I could only reproduce with too weak power supply (and of course, the always close-up-no.1 bad cables). Try a different cable to connect to the PSU as well. This should help it.

power supply can be broken but that may be not the case

touch the chips and if they are warm probably your port is fine
i couldn't get to short those pins too

Hi All, Great news, i did it to get the UG802 flashed with the Finless ROM!!! Thank you very much for support, without your support i never had to complete the job. Strange enough with the same cables, adapters and usb drives. Maybe it was my lucky day yesterday. But the important thing is that it's working great!!!
