Apologies that is the model. With the Stock Finless it would detect the Monitor and allow some control ( I would get a round cursor I could drag around the touchscreen but it would not snap to touch position) but there is nothing to even show a HID or any device was detected on this rom.

    Thanks in advance

Send the commands to your email/gmail. Both commands.

    Then start up terminal app.
Switch to your Gmail app, and copy the first code (hold mouse click).
    Go back to terminal.
After typing su, hold down the mouse click and hit paste.
    Enter the code.
Wait for the screen to go black. It'll come back in a moment.
    Switch back to Gmail app.
Copy the second code again (hold mouse click to highlight + copy).
    Switch back to Terminal app.
Paste second code and hit enter.

Overall this kernel with Fineless ROM is AMAZING ( the only word suited for this combination) . I am using 720P with ROM 1.7b . Finless, I can confirm all wifi issues have gone also with this ROM..

Thanks !!! you guys are great in pushing MK808 to its limits and beyond hats off !!![/QUOTE

I can't figure how to create new script in this program and where to put it. It looks totally different than the screen shots from play store. Love the kernel, just can't live without sound

My advise would be to start fresh using the FInless Flash tool. Now, I'm not sure if you've also messed up your bootloader when you installed Finless ROMs (for an explanation, see http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post53451)

    Here's what I would advise:
    1) Download the latest firmware from Geekbuying for the MK808, be it version 4.1 or 4.2.
    2) Use their tools, follow the instructions and reinstall the stock firmware. Included is the original bootloader for your MK808.
    3) Now, reinstall Finless's ROM (regardless of 4.1/4.2), but UNTICK the first option I think that says bootloader as you don't want to use any custom bootloader. I don't have my flashing computer with me now, but it should be the first option. Tick everything else, and as usual, swap out the kernel.img file with the 720p kernel posted here.
    4) Don't forget to click the Wipe NAND button.
    5) Install.

Once you've done this, let me know if you still have difficulty getting it to boot.
I tried but again stuck at boot.

I installed jelly bean original rom. then installed finless 1.6 with omegamoon kernel with loader option (first option) unticked. unfortunately did not boot :/

Addition to that I'm really trying hard to solve poor video performance. Not only in video but also in games, screen is stuttering. Some frames are dropping or skipping which annoys me very much.

All these consequently leads to make me thing my device is not genuine. :/
    Try a different USB cable?

I opened it up and it has an rk901 wifi chip but only a single antenna which is odd because I swear all the ones I've seen have two. Either way, the wifi signal is fine (now at least). It also has a black heatsink on there too.

    Do you think it's a legit mk808?

Now, I can appreciate you made these builds for this version of the kernel because there's some fantastic improvements and people with hdmi would also like to use it.

I've tried older builds from omegamoon's own site (because I can only use HDMI) and they booted fine. Only problem being is, they all output at 1080p, even if I specifically use the 720p versions. They, no matter what, scale 720p up to 1080p. (you can tell because of all the jaggies around everything and I'm using a 720p rom so the initial boot image appears messed up.) They also don't include the new governers so it's kinda pointless.

I understand that you can't answer questions about the kernel it self but do you have any idea what I could do to actually boot your builds corrently? I have tried both flashing with finless rom flash tool (just the kernel img) and by using CWM.

Both methods result in a hang on boot.

    Thanks,
    Mark.

I think I can manage that tutorial (wow, it must have taken ages to put that together, great work!)

First time though, most likely going to totally mess it up

My girlfriend will kill me too, she won't see me all week :P

Trickiest part seems to be selecting the right options with menuconfig...
