    Different host?

Thank you for making the kernel available for our little toys. Your work, as well as that of all those who contribute to this great little community is greatly appreciated.

Please consider hosting the files on a server that does not require an annoying, time-wasting sign-on. Perhaps dropbox?

    ...W.

Running Lewy 2.11 and either Omegamoon or Alex kernel. Omegamoon on performance 1.6GHz locked and Alex on 1.4GHz locked.
The file copied locally so no network slowdown. Seems like 10fps on Omegamoon and full speed on Alex kernel playing via Archos player.
    Omegamoon can you test?

If anyone wants the file pm me : don't want to put the file publicly on the net
Try enabling 2d GPU rendering for omegamoon's kernel. I know Alex may be running the GPU at 266 and up and that he runs the DDR RAM at a higher frequency than usual. Not sure what else he could have changed that would result in these performance differences...

I did not try the file directly on the memory of the MK808 when using your kernel yet, which I hope to do tonight (if I find a free minute).

This is what I did to mine to run @1.6GHz. It's a chipset heatsink off an old Asus P4P800 motherboard. Then some vram heatsinks on the NAND and memory.

Now... Still have to get the MK808B Wifi/Bluetooth working

I see you are from NLD which could make a conversation and test handier.

    @PoisonWolf

Just uploaded a direct stream from the sat to my ftp. Will pm you the link (about 36MB)
i must say it is not the best possible example since it causes interlacing issues on Archos for some reason (known issue I think) but this one doesn't drop that many frames on Alex's kernel

    I have Finless 1.7A Rom with kizs Kernel 2.1 720 P on my Mk808
What is the best way for me to update my MK808 with Finless 1.7c and with Omegamoon's Kernel ?
Shall I use the RK Flash tool in finless rom and change the kernel img to Omagamoon's Kernel file ?
Or shall I flash with 1.7C Rom first and then flash kernel with CWM ?
    please help.
    Thanks

    Did it help?

See bugmenot. Another user posted it earlier in the thread.

    Let us know what happens.

Sorry for the record quality. 720P kernel but recorded with my S2 in front of the tv. Same channel, the Omegamoon one might be recorded closer to the tv but I think you will see what I mean.
