I run Linux Mint 14.0 at home and an Intel MAC at work.
I bought a Polaroid 705X for $85.00 USD at a local Big Lots store.
I would like to make this a fully functional battle station I mean tablet. It does not come with or allow me to easily install Google Play etc.
Is Flashing the ROM and using the electric rom listed in this post a good idea? Will it allow me to use the tablet more fully? Is there a way to do the flash from a MAC or a Linux box?
