    CWM Minix Neo X5 Roms

Is it 1080p version or 720. Also after installing this will it keep the cwm recovery in place in case one wants to revert back to finless 1.3?

I'm not really a rom dev, but i'll try to take it apart and make a cwm flashable zip from it.

CWM version of latest 4.2.2 stock ROM

Can we get a CWM version of the latest MiniX release of 4.2.2? I hear it is finally stable and would like to try it even if it is not rooted or customized.

I just did it the same way I do for all my devices. Just install it straight from adobe (search "archived flash player versions.) The latest version 11.1.115.81 works just fine for me on all of my devices as far as I can tell without more specifics of your issue.

I'm not sure man because I just did the update.zip method on official 005 and it worked fine for me. I have even had it ask to flash it from a usb flash. I bet you it can be flashed also with good ol adb if there is a .img instead of just a .zip.

I know (thanks XDA*) user haim85 has trying to use this way:

1.) Use a file explorer and move the CWM recovery zip that you just downloaded to the root of your /sdcard directory and rename it "update.zip"
2.)You should now automatically be prompted to install the update using the system's stock updater process -- Accept the update.

If i remember correctly, i did not use this way! I think to remember me, that i have rebooted into original recovery and flashed the NeoX5_CWM.zip using the install function directly there. Is that possible?

I hope, you will understand my horrible english!

    Edit:
    * I have seen that user "haim85" has posted the same problem on XDA yesterday!

I don't remember right now where i downloaded CWM for X5, but from what I remember, it seems that the way he does flash it is correct.

    Why?
The system just tells you that after installing this update.img, if you choose to not automatically remove it, it will be detected again on next boot and you will always be asked to install it. So you can answer yes here. The update.img will be flashed, then removed from the device.
