Ok so after a few attempts to find a better OS for my tv box -- http://www.smartvboxs.com/products/A...l#.VkV1O3bhCJA --- I have come to the conclusion that i need to know more about the box in general.
Can anyone tell me what i should be searching for to narrow the search down a bit, i have been working on the assumption that it is an MXQ box but i'm not having much luck so thought i'd try to get that confirmed before continuing. From the settings in android I can see that it is kernel 3.10.33 with 8188eu wifi module and AVL6211 DTV.
Any help on this subject would be appreciated as i'm not impressed with the EPG/channel lists side of android and would like to move to a linux based system sooner rather than later
