Q8 Box not detected by Windows 10

    Hi guys,

    I've recently (delivered 2 days ago) purchased a Chinese Q8 rk3288 box.
Me being me I want to mess around with it but for some reason am unable to get my laptop to actually see the device.

ADB is enabled on the device so I should at least see an Android ADB device in my device manager yet nothing shows up, the same applies to flash mode.
I've plugged 2 different micro usb cables (both tested and working) in the OTG port of the device and in my laptop (in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports) but nothing.
The device is working fine except this issue.

I've also plugged a OTG adapter into the port and plugged a gamepad into the adapter and this also is working fine, I basically have no idea what's going on.
ADB over wifi is working just fine btw.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would really like to start messing around with kernel patching etc...

    Thank you!

    Regards

EDIT: Turns out the OTG port and its hole in the case are a bit misalligned, Batchtool is now detecting a device (class rockusb devices -> rockusb device).
    So hooray for that. :-)
    But still no ADB.
Oh well, I can live with ADB over wifi, good enough.
