Official Ugoos firmwares for devices based on rk3368

I made new Marshmallow firmware for RK3368.
It should run great on the UT4.
I will need some help to add the UT4 fan to work still.
If someone wants to test it, please leave feedback in the thread link, so Ugoos related news can still stay here to not confuse users.

Android TV Launcher displays only those applications that have special flags for android tv.
To display other applications, you can use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.tv.sideloadlauncher&hl or something else

what Clockspeed use the GPU of the UT4 ??? and can it be overclocked , because i have hicks & short hangs while gaming DEATH TRIGGER2.

That's not happen with UT3 and DT2.

I really thought the newer build Device has better Specs , what becomes the maybe UT5 for a GPU ???

And where i can find Info's about the Fan and his Plug of UT4 (Pictures , FanSpecs) ???

75 °C and higher are not good.My UT3 never goes higher 55 °C.

600 MHz. UT3 has a different GPU chip.

75 °C for CPU is normal. UT3's CPU can be heated up to 90-100 °C.

The sound and image still blocks with FTMC B13.

Everything works very well for 20 to 30 mn and it blocks half a second and it leaves again in the best,

if not more sound and I have to go out or cut the passthrough to restart.

I do not understand some say it works well.


I realize that on this box the problems come mainly from sound.
(youtube, radio, Kodi...)

my UT4 runs hot while Gaming i want to add a beter Fan , is the Fan of the UT4 soldered or does it use a Plug to connect to PCB ???

I know there are Pictures of the PCB but where ??? and what Voltage is needed ???

Until now my Kodi runs good no drops !!! Youtube i must test first to see what is going on.

The kodi ugoos works not bad but i will also test Rkmc to see if my problem jumping image and sound came from ionix 9.5.
I've also seen a problem that persists in YouTube, The sound and image jump at the beginning.

After changing files with Mixplorer the Bluetooth works.
I have not tried the wifi because I use rj45.

Thank you for having answered this fast, I will test for the root, because I will be able to change the files wifi and Bluetooth. For the sound problem it takes more testing to be sure.
If not, an idea for the light.

The light is from the kernel and resource.img
Try to use RKMC Kodi.

Hello, I tested the 1.1.4 and 1.1.4 tv on my box i68G and here are my returns; The ignition light never changes to red, it remains blue Even when the Box was switched off. The wifi and Bluetooth does not work and the box is not root. For Kodi I had one problem for now, the sound is cut and it took Let me get out of the film and give it back so they can come back.

Is there a root version?

Tv boxes don't have ignitions because they are not cars
The LED light is supposed to stay blue on Ugoos UT4 devices.
Wifi and bluetooth will not work because the I68G uses different wifi & bluetooth and the firmware was not made for that device.
For Root you just have to go into Ugoos settings and turn Root on.
Lots of users don't want root to be able to use streaming apps so you have to manually enable it.
