Is the stock rom in img or zip?
you need to make a sdcard boot, or a sdcard flash.
The easier one is the sdcard flash!

I know, im not mad or anything, just mentioning my issue. So h
ow can I flash the stock rom if I cant get into the recovery mode? I tried the toothpick method and shorting the pins. It doesn't go passed the blue android guy screen.

there are a lot of OTT mxq boxes... that is why i added the G9C in the title topic and "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!"
Flash the stock rom(pc) and you should be good again!

I installed your rom on my OTT mxq, and now it freezes on the Superceleron load screen, with the blue android guy. I cant get into recovery mode to install the stock rom.

I decided to go with an older version of the burning tool and it worked out.
After a week or so of use, it's been a huge difference in performance as well as everything working in the play store.

Thank you for your work. My Q Box Amlogic S905,2G DDR3,16G is working night and day better.

I generally do not see a huge performance increase like this from a ROM. This was a big increase from the stock ROM.
Can't thank you enough, just what I was looking for.

    Glad you like it

Well there several different mxq with the s905 so dunno... this one the box must say in the bottom of it G9C (sticker)... so dunno if it works on that one, and only test it if it says that on the bottom of it or you know what you are doing...

first, thanks so much for the quick reply!

I think I'm all set to do that but can't figure out a way to flash it. I tried making a bootable SD card, tried hooking the box up usb, tried toothpick method. No response from the box at all. It just always boots up to that first screen of superceleron rom.

so unfortunately I'm stuck and confused.

    Any ideas are much appreciated!

    * First I have flashed : SC_v.1.0_OTT_MXQs905.zip from the Android "UPDATE&BACKUP / Select update".
    * Second I've flashed p200-ota-201601.zip with the TWRP from the SuperCeleron Firmware.
    * And finaly the toothpick method and the USB_Burning_Tool did connect and I've managed to flash the L-MXQPRO-KODI-0511 (https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B8lZz...xport=download).

Now the latest firmware runs fine including Wi_fi and Ethernet.
Noob here so please be patient, but I could really use some advice. I bought a cheap-o MXQ Pro from Gearbest. The box says both OTT TV Box and Nexbox on it. The Wifi connected for the web browser app but nothing else (no wifi in kodi). So I tried flashing the firmware but none would load.

I was trying to follow these directions and SC_v.1.0_OTT_MXQs905.zip flashed fine using the Update&Backup. The problem is that the first Superceleron screen is all that comes up now when I boot the box. The remote seems to have no response and my cordless usb mouse doesn't either. I can't flash any other firmware because despite the presence of the reset button in the A/V jack, it has never worked for me. Also, when I hook the box to my PC using male-to-male usb, nothing shows up in my device manager.

How do I get to the superceleron menus? Is there something simple that I am doing wrong or is my tv box toast for good?

Help me obi-wan kenobi, you're my only hope.
