HD audio passthrough works in both Nagrace as well as Zidoo ROMs. There is no issue with HD audio passthrough in any of them.
AC3 transcoding doesn't work with any Nagrace ROM. AC3 transcoding works with all Zidoo ROMs except 1.0.38.

I like the look and feel of Zidoo ROMs.
I think you had mentioned an app to hide the top bar, I mean where the clock and wifi icon is. Not sure what that bar is called.

It's good to hear that HD audio works with both Zidoo and Nagrace, I'm just confused, because previoously you stated (in post #48) that especially with this Zidoo-based ROM - for what this topic was originally opened - it doesn't work. You should make it clear, which combination of boot, resource, system and KODI you flashed, and have experienced the working passthrough and AC3 transcoding features, with special concern to the IR remote functions. If so, I would pack that combination for the other guys, as the best solution by now.

I'm sure now that I'll not go for KODI from Zidoo 1.0.38, even if it provides better audio sync. AC3 transcoding is more important for me.

As I remember, I only mentioned an app called "Fullscreen", but did not test it, as I mainly use KODI only, and it runs fullscreen, anyway. The top is called status bar I think.

And then replaced the kernel & resource mentioned above.

I do not have a 4K TV.
I played 4K video on Z68 in ZDMC 16.1 (this came with Lonix 1.0.38), that was displayed on 1080p screen. It played without any issues.

Can you explain the procedure ( and then replaced the kernel & resource mentioned above )

The remote won't work since the Nagrace resource works hand in hand with it's kernel to make the remote work.
Also for Nagrace the remote drivers and key setups are inside the kernel while other devices use power hacks in the resource.img to get their remotes working.
You can always buy an airmouse or get a different RK3368 device.
The Z68 ones have no official support.

I bought a VicTsing i68 and this is the best firmware has worked, others I was always going to jump the sound of Ac3

(I was interested in the audio output by SPDIF AC3 and DTS) the only problem there is that when it is not Ac3 or DTS sound (PCM) is not output from the SPDIF, only output by hdmi

Is there a newer version that has corrected or that way enable it? In android settings is ignored, when choosing the type of audio output (spdif passthrough) or (PCM)

i think your Device is a renamed Andoer or Beelink i68,look here under Beelink and read the Threads,i thing Wassers Rom has a good chance to work on your Device.Ask there for more Info.

Yes, it is exactly the Beelink i68 with Gigabit LAN, at least outside

I tried Wasser version 4.0.2, and the wifi does not work, the AC3 or DTS do not work in Kodi, in video player works sometimes and PCM if it works well for optical out: S

It is frustrating that every firmware fails one thing, how could I know that hardware has exactly and what will work well?

ok. so installed the other 2 roms for z68.. and just installed this one.. the only issue i have is the keyboard does not appear.. Any advice from anyone>?
if you look at the other 2 threads for rom.. i am the last post on both.... hopefully someone will get back on this on..lol

After some changes in the keyboard language/layout settings, it usually comes back.
