Hello everyone, I just found this forum and I hope this is an appropriate place to post..
I bought two of these MX IV 4K media boxes via ****, and I'm having trouble figuring out who makes them, where to look for firmware, etc. It sort of looks like some of the "Tronfy" boxes listed in their subforum but not quite. I would really like to get TWRP recovery and a rom closer to AOSP than what is on here if possible. The firmware that shipped is full of bloat, and Kodi is "preloaded" with addons from unknown sources. Anyway. Does anyone know what these things are and why they don't seem to fit the nomenclature of these other boxes? Google has very little to say about a "MX IV", and the specs seem more inline with what this forum calls a "MXQ Pro", but not quite the same.
Any help finding a starting point for this box would be greatly appreciated.
