X92 TV Box S912, Android 6, 3/16GB, Dual WiFi, Gig Lan

Hey guys.
I'm trying to get audio out of this Android TV box by hooking up some headphones to it.

I tried plugging in headphones in the AV port but nothing happens.
I've set the "digital audio" selection to PCM (other options are HDMI and SPDIF, neither of these work either from the AV port.)

Audio over HDMI and optical audio work perfectly.

The only thing I can think of is that the AV port has some strange pin out that doesn't pass audio over the headphone jack. But then again, I don't get audio on the right side nor left side.
Perhaps it's the other 2 parts of the minijack?

If someone can test this for please, I would be grateful.

I did flash my unit with the Ugoos firmware for the same device. But I really doubt that that is the issue.

You need to use 4pin av jack. Standard headphones jack pinout is defferent.

Not my experience at all. I've used at least 3 different TV boxes that I connected to an analog TV via a 3xRCA cable you'd depicted and the same A/V port worked fine for 3.5mm audio.

The only problem I've encountered was poor contact so I had to experiment with insertion depth, believe it or not

Hi, everyone. I'm planning to get my 1st android box and after doing some research over the forums and youtube reviews (eg Chigz Tech Reviews).. I've decided to get this X92. But before that, I would like to ask.. is there any significant difference between the 3gb 16gb model and the 3gb 32gb model.. apart from the extra 16gb space?

Main usage is for online streaming (k-drama for the wife) and occasional gaming with my son.

I bough a x92 3g/16g a year ago,
it's all good at the first month,

then it started with an issue, that The wifi will be in OFF status when you turn on the x92, and the wifi could never be switch on anyhow.

Without any solution, i rest it for few weeks, and turn it on, the wifi will work for a while like one or two hours, which is the period I was using it.

however, once i turned the x92 off, the wifi would have the same problem again.

I guess it is mostly because of the hardware issue?.. or would it be an firmware issue? But i actually have tried to install a few different versions of firmware, and the problem still exists..

Please help me out guys..

Hello everyone, sorry for my English. I have found the android software 7.1.2 for the 3g/16gb or 3g/32 tv box. There are three versions.
All information was obtanied from the following url:

1) Official rom 7.1.2:

Steps of the installation:

a) first download Usb burning tool version v2.0.5.15 and you must have usb-usb cable (burning tool is in zip mediafire)

- unzip zip and get the img (Android_7.1.2_PC-rooted_Vasily.img.zip)
- Load the firmware, but do not connect to the TV box yet.
- After loading the firmware click on start (normal erase).
- connect the tv box to the pc through the usb-usb cable, do not connect tv box power source.
- Wait until the firmware is installed.

b) additional software.

- install recovery.img by means of rashr or zip update
- install xposed framework using twrp.
- viper4fx using apk.
- cpu monitor, temp apk

Any question that you ask I will not be able to answer, I am not an expert. I have tested the software for the X92 3G/16G TV box.

Do you have any idea how can i fix it? or if there is anyone mentioned this on 4PDA ?.. i can't read Russia..

Hi. All the firmwares belong to https://4pda.ru. I have tried them and they can change to English language (I am not sure about Chinese language).
About the wifi, I think you have hardware problems. I recommend you try the wifi operation near the router, if you continue to have problems, your hardware is the problem. The only thing you can do is connect via network cable or :

I have tried the software in the tv box and I have no problems with the wifi, this can be on all day and there are no problems.

Maybe you can find an alternative solution in the forums 4pda.ru use the google browser and translate the page
