Can anyone shed some light on my situation? I've got an android ubox i828 (liked) and i'm looking to update it to the latest possible android firmware available for it. I've looked around and the only information I can find is pointing me towards the "OTA Updater" which, as far as I can tell, has never worked. Couple of questions below;
Am I right in thinking that I can install any android version onto it as long as it supports the Amlogic s802 chip?
If so, what would be the easiest way to push the update onto the box, via USB or via SD card?
Is there a way to take a backup of the current OS on it to avoid potentially bricking it? - If I can't find any info on it now, god knows how i'd fix it being bricked!
Will it still come with all the bloatware or will it be a generic version of Android installed?
