Just been reading in the original rom thread that SC has got a bit tired of this Rom.
Don't blame him really as trying to produce a silk purse from the source is a bit of a thankless task.

I think sleep is still tinkering hopefully.

I have had problems with the V4 rom.
The 'Green screen' bug effect has come to haunt me and on exit FTMC crashes each time.
V4 for me didn't seem to sit well with A912, but actually I found the V3 rom really good.

I am not sure if its the swap from viewsonic monitor to sony TV that has caused my problems though.

Which Rom did you guys feel was the strongest? As in the main thread someone is saying V1 & V2!? Dunno as started on V3.

    Stuart

Silly question but is there a way to reboot into flash mode? Finding that reset button is twisting my melon.

    ... .
I connect to my Beelink over SSH and just use the following commands:

    su
    reboot recovery

then You can select the new firmware from SDCARD.

Yeah same could do that also... Doh! as I never did

Because its this Rom SC didn't comment, so this happens with the other SNx912 ?
Hope they get a fix as really impressed with the price/performance of the chipset and that Mali820

Actually hitting some bugs with this version v4 Rom.

Not really sure as when I get back home I will have to connect it back to my monitor which seemed to work fine.

But the Sony TV I am connected to seems to get the 'green screen' bug where all the colours get weird and blurry.

Also on exit from FTMC android always complains of FTMC not working.
So maybe this version is a bit more flakey I did post in the original rom thread as just presumed its the same but with wifi driver changes but it would seem to be treated as a separate fork.

v3 for me seemed to be much more stable?

It takes a while for the 'green screen' effect first time the screen will stutter and go 'green screen' for 10 or 20 seconds then go back to normal.
Somes a quarter or third the way through a film.
Then maybe 5 or 10 minutes after that it will happen again and be permanent unless you pull the HDMI or reboot?

Great job, thanks just updated the firmware and I discovered one strange thing, when I want to add an google account or a wifi password I could not use my remote+ air mouse buttons to select the letters from the virtual keyboard. The input box stay empty. When I use the mouse to select the letters I do not have a problem. With stock rom this worked.
It is not a problem but strange only :-)

for all of you which do not have an usb cable to flash the firmware, you can do it by the sd card, all you need is the tool burn_card_maker, this tool makes a bootable sd card of your xyz.img file. important is the name of the image should not have any blanks.

Your Rom is actually 66,156 Mb bigger than the SC one.
Ignore my cable spaghetti problem as now can flash at will!

Strange one but has anyone tried a VPN over WiFi? I can not work this out but WiFi + VPN is not working.
Ethernet+VPN working. WiFi no VPN working.

    Head scratch?!
