I don't want hdmi settings (not good) like all other chinese stuff. If you want this you can download my stock repack that is the same things of the 1.5a

Hdmi settings are tv specific functions and not android function. And the android input managment system is very important that is the android original and not the chinese one.

In the next nexus rom based on sdk 2 i will add the native support for netflix. For now you can use the xposed framework + netflix plugin that is the better solutuon.

Netflix to work propely need sdk 2 (that i have) on sdk 1 is only a workaround. But with the xposed framework work well.

You can find my stock repack rom on experimental firmware thread that have inside all that you can find in 1.5a (chinese stuffs)

When an app don't work or don't work well on your chinese rom try the NEXUS to solve.
k, sorry for the confusion, i will try the repack thanx.

your dropbox account link is not working. Can freaktab provide the downloads?

This allows right click = back functionality by changing about 4 lines in Framework/base/services/input/inputreader.cpp by changing about 4 lines. Strauzo would you be interested in implementing this method of on future roms as this seems to be a legitimate way to implement the change without the need for closed source code?

EDIT: just noticed i completely forgot to include the link to the code:

I have been using this ROM and it is excellent! I too was having screen resize issues, all four edges were cut off on my tv. I installed Resolution Changer (free version) from play google, and found that a 15:9 resolution works great. The sides and top are no longer cut off. The bottom navigation buttons are still slightly truncated, but it is not a problem at all. This ROM is by far the best I have used with my T428. It plays HBO GO, YouTube HD videos, Google Play Movies, Netflix (with xposed framework workaround) beautifully. It is also the only 4.2.2 ROM I have tried that plays videos through the Plex app. I am very happy with this version. Thank you strauzo!

Thanks friend. your post can be usefull for people with scaling problem.

But i think that the 60% of people, don't know that the TV with a specific button on menu or on remote, automatically scale the image at best resolution. All my samsung tv can do this.

i'm working on nexus rom 2 with sdk 2 inside to solve also the netflix problem

How did you manage to get your hands on sdk2 for the AMP's since they've only been pushing it out to the tablets first? And when you plan on releasing your .configs or sources so some of us can take a look at your sources? I'm interested in seeing which source you based your work off of since alok's, bq and rikomagic sources all need some big time overhauling to get working. Regardless, thanks for your contribution to the community.

I get the sdk 2 from tablets, i adapt only what we need. I already have a working rom.

Rockchip is the only one obliged to correct the video problem. I don't like my solution also if it work. I want a solution from Rockchip or i want my money back.

If i share my workaround, we will never have a complete solution from the manufacturer. It takes a lot of work on kernel source code to solve the problem seriously.

But for sure i don't stop work on this devices.

display is all hosed up in app. is there a way to get this working? also do you have a kernel for 1080p display? coming from 1.4 finles but this rom is just so much smoother. just miss netflix, mouse right click, and 1080p. oh and thank you for all your hard work!

To solve the Netflix problem, you use the Xposed or http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=1583

                            This ROM and CX919

First of all thank you for strauzo’s work and support
you must have put a lot of work into this, hats of .
                            I need a little advice.
I have installed this ROM and, your MK908 test4 kernel on my CX919, and this seems to the best combination for me. wifi download speed good, does not throttle and video playback is the best I have seen so far.

Two things I need advice on?
How do you switch off? Do you use an app. for that? (I do not see a switch off button)

The other is mounting USB drives. Finless 4.2.2 1.4 ROM mounts automatically my USB drive with 4 ntfs partitions.
This ROM does not even recognize that there is an USB drive connected to it. However I can mount the drive’s partitions with the Paragon app.

Is there a way to do this automatically like in Finless 4.2.2 1.4 ROM?

                            Thanks again for everything

The interesting thing for me is that actually with this kernel/rom somehow it disables my TV's possibility to do the resize. You are right, such option is available but instead it displays a message that these controls are not now available, whereas for other connected devices it indeed resize to fit.

Maybe the Samsung TV's have something to correct scale it, but certainly my Samsung monitor does not want to display the screen without significant portion of the screen falling off.

Anyway, great what you archived with the frame dropping bug
Hope that in your next kernel release you may be able to add the nfs modules as well (CONFIG_NFS_FS)

can you please make a Non Rooted version of this rom?

                                I would really appreciate it

                                Thank you
