T428 Nexus Rom SDK2 and Multi-Windows - Official

Once one app starts in portretmode(screen 90deg. rotated) which 2 apps did spontaneously, the device takes this state as default. With the rotation locker i can restore this to landscape, but after a reboot the screen is rotated again. Can this locker automatically start after reboot, and set the T428 to landscape?

I had similar issues and solved it by editing the build.prop.

May I suggest D-Link DUB-H4? It comes with a 2500mA PSU.

I used to have one connected to a T428. No problems whatsoever even with all four ports in use (USB-RJ45 adapter, USB sound card, USB receiver for Logitech K400r, 1TB 2.5" HDD).

If you need more than 4 ports, the DUB-H7 is a good choice (7 ports, 3000mA PSU).

Thanks for the tip, I'll opt for that one. It's about the cheapest one with external power supply I've seen so far anyways :-)

Install to MK908 v3

Hi,
I successfully flash the SDK2 rom to a MK908 v1, but right now I could not do the same to MK908 v3.
It can not boot to show boot-animation but only black screen.
If anyone find out how to do, please let me know.

I only have the T428, but I'm guessing you used the wrong kernel for v3

One more question. When I connect the external usb harddrive (which has it's own power supply) directly to the T428, shouldn't it work then?
Because I tried that (controlling the T428 with Droidmote) and it did not detect the harddrive. It kept connecting and disconnecting my external micro SD instead...

Depends, really, on how much current the HDD will draw from the USB port. It seems that HDDs in general require more current from the USB port than the device is able to deliver.

t428 without at least 1.7 A wont even boot, a 2.5" hd requires around 0.7-1 A (older ones require even more) so there's no way t428 default 2A (yeah, right...) power brick can handle it.

Strangely enough, my old MK802 was able to handle this specific external HDD, connected directly. This stick also has a 2A power supply.

@Molle, how are you finding the Minix Neo X7? Thinking about abandoning the T428 for that one...

Hardware keyboard defaults to on and no task switching between running apps

I use a wireless mouse pointer and randomly the hardware keyboard keeps getting turned on which means I can not enter any characters in search boxes as no onscreen keyboard appears.
It does bring up a keyboard icon in tray but trying to toggle hardware keyboard off from there doesn't apply and I have to go back to settings app and toggle it there
Can I edit build prop or do something to disable the hardware keyboard,

Also I am unable to switch tasks in the running apps, they are listed and I can close them but they will not switch,just return to the previous app.Is there a fix for this

would love to solve these otherwise seems to be working well

That's quite an old version of the nexus ROM. v1.2 is the latest. It was released on 08.03.2013.

Yeah That happens to me too ,go to settings and disable the hardware keyboard toggle switch and then it will work with on screen keyboard
