I made him a 1080 kernel and tested it myself. The he wanted one more change so maybe I did not do it right. I will look at this ASAP right now.

You are incorrect!
I downloaded my own link and flashed that kernel. It is true 1080P.
So your doing something wrong!
I do not know what your using to check resolution but it is 1080P and my TV reports it as such!
Antutu Benchmark under system settings reports 1920x1032 (not 1920x1080 because of status bar).

So... it is true 1080. Sorry but your incorrect.

@Fredphoesh, I can't tell any different between 720p and 1080p after flashing v1.2.0_1080p. How and where can we set display settings to 1080p? I couldn't find it on the settings on my CS918 flashed with v1.2.0_1080p. Coud you please enlightened me as I am new here.

re-flashed it and remarked the following:
It does not work with my monitor when using DVI input. Using DVI I don't get an option to set 1080p. When I am using HDMI input my monitor thinks it's a video device and goes in ugly overscan mode, but I can set 1080p. My monitor worked well with RK3066 and DVI input.

Same story for me when i am using my old samsung (BX2235 dvi input)...but with aoc (i2367fh hdmi) and samsung tvs (d8000,d6100 - hdmi) everything fine, on asus(pb278q hdmi) getting blinking in 1080p,720p - ok
