I have a TV box which does not cooperate with any sort of flashing, it is rooted but presumably no updates with the exception of maybe OTA (no danger of that) work.
USB can't be seen ever, neither stock recovery nor twrp are able to mount to internal storage, reboot to boot loader fully loads of.
apparently shorting the legs 6-7 or 7-8 of the nand while inserting USB will allow me to load a rom or fw to the NAND.
the Question is since the NAND is a ReMan and likely to have some bad blocks formatted out, will burning software through USB cause the bad blocks to be written to?
