J22 TVSTICK with AP6210 wifi

It's 4.4. Had soms trouble rooting, but then stumbled upon some nice piece of software called VROOT. Doesn't look that good but did the trick!

Thanks for posting this! Can you tell us that if this 0606 rom on Kitkat 4.4 or older 4.2? And can you try it with a usb cam to see if it works with Skype with this rom? On all my other 4.4 roms, USB cam video feed comes in but really dark, seems like some kernel issue.

Here is latest rom for the stick above its still 4.2.2 but 1.4ghz and fixes hdmi problems :-

Good Evening, I did what the tutorial was asked in Japanese green at the end and put the firmware cyxtech_rk31_809III_8089_140522_3515 worked! But the version of android 4.2.2 is wanted by the 4.4 you would have to put this version on your device?

It is the only fully working version that does not have issues.

I removed the hood to see the printed pattern on the plate and is exactly what the arnookie spoke. CYX_809III_RK3188 20,140,208 V2_1 this model could put the latest kitkat and work perfect?

Here is latest rom for the stick above its still 4.2.2 but 1.4ghz and fixes hdmi problems :-

Hmm these sticks vary wildly from factory to factory
I have direct link to factory that makes the stick with model number "CX 919II model CYX_809III_RK3188 V2_1 20140208"
They work great with latest factory rom I have from this month.
The other stick I have that I posted about a few pages back was made by another factory and is crap locked at 1ghz and has massive problems.

Sorry for being ... lol layman but already gave it a read in previous posts and did not understand much ... rs would aid have a J22 with android 4.2 I did not like, I would put the kitkat on my device. I'm downloading the DM918 J22_rk3188_dongle_ap6210_131226 MK809III green.rar I saw in one of my posts has BT and double Wifi, does anyone have any tutorial that can tell me how to make this exchange system.


PS. I did the same thing in a Galaxy S3 to 4.4 per worked nicely, is the same process: ROLL

my two microusb host no funtion, but in 20131226 4.2.2 rom is working

I purchased the 919 II from aliexpress. Its locked at 1ghz and can not show even 720p or above.

WTF is going on? I am really pissed and just don't get it at all. What speed were your units locked to on stock roms? I needto do something to fix this stick! Help someone please :O)

Well working cx-919 II with rom but no fast wifi on N band

Hi,

I followed all your suggestions and am able to have a well working stick with kitkat.

Only problem is that if my router is in mixed mode (b/g/n) or
in n mode the stick has a download speed < 1Mbps.

In b/g mode it has around 18 Mbps which is fine if I compare it
with my phone.

Don't like to put the router in b/g mode.

Any suggestions?
