New Firmware U5 PVR
1. Added Backup / Restore function of all user data include APPs and acounts to FAT32 USB storage device.
- Backup function by storing userdata.tar file on external FAT32 USB stick.
- Ability to restore userdata.tar backup file on external FAT32 USB stick.
- NTFS File System Memory Stick has a file attribute problem , so we will support it if an alternative option is found.
2. Support the screen saver (DayDream)
3. Support Low Memory Killer to avoid hanging issue under overflow
4. Add Quick Memory Cleaner at the bottom of the Leanback launcher.
5. Support Standby mode, Power save mode on the power APP at the bottom of the Leanback launcher.
6. Changed Power button operation on RCU:
- Press once: Switch to standby mode
- Press twice or press and hold for 3 seconds: Switch to Power Save mode
7. Add HiMedia Media Center on Leanback Launcher.
8. Renamed default Media Center to Media Manager and move into My Apps.
- Fixed the problem that when using Menu function of Media Manager, the text and background color are similar, so it is not visible.
9. Add Linux selection menu.
10. Change Linux file system automatic recognition priority when using Linux.
11. Fixed an issue where setting at boot time after hot spot setting was not applied.
12. Due to KODI copyright issue, Delete the default installation (Personal installation is no problem ^ ^)
Known Issue but didn't fix. Hint.
1. Exit (Back) key does not work in KODI version 17.1 or later
1) U4 / U5 Back key will support by backspace key next to key 0 of remote controller.
2) In case of using KODI 17.1 or later, if gamepad registration menu appears, You can register Back key when mapping Back key to U5 remote control exit key.
Linux File System
Newly, public Linux system image are listed below.
1. Updated Latest Plex Server
2. Updated Latest TVH 4.2.1
3. Changed TVH home folder /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend
How to upgrade.
We recommend an upgrade via an OTA server.
Please follow below steps.
1. Choose "ATV settings"
2. Choose "About"
3. Choose "System Update"
4. Choose "Upgrade Online"
5. Choose "Normal" version
6. Wait untill getting image.
7. After getting image, choose "OK" to upgrade.
8. Wait upgrade, it will takes over 3 minutes more less.
9. After upgrading it, Box will come with UI.
Users for upgrade by USB stick.
Recommend to upgrade Normal version.
Android Normal version: keep personal apps and DB

Except when you delete all user DBs and write them in the factory default state, you can use the normal version.
