Just be careful about how you flash... you can kill widevine if not careful. It has is own partition and coded with the devices serial number. So one widevine will not work with another box.
FYI, I had a recent firmware update for my Mini M8S Pro-C, it had upgraded all the drivers, and enabled one of my USB ports to be USB3. Maybe that will be the case for the new L1 edition of the M8S Pro.
IMO, if you have an over 65" 4K TV widevine will help with best picture. Though if I spent money on a 4K TV, I would have bought a Shield TV box to go with it.

1. Download and brush with the USB Burning tool the Official IMG.file for Ugoos-AM3 (V 2.06);

2. Replace the file Root\system\etc\remote.conf (I prefer Root explorer);
3. Run TWRP and install the patch for the Ethernet adapter (install from zip).

Flash at your own risk! Back up your data first!

From what I understand, 3GB loosing 1GB won't be an issue, as 3GB is way too much reserved to system. Heck, my old kitkat tablet is 2/16 and still kicks butt, and I multitask more than I would on TV. Plus my apps are more memory intensive.

working on abusing my Mini M8S Pro-C... tried flashing it, did not load properly, but my boot loader is locked and may have to do repetitive back to back flashes, because of the inherent issues with firmwares not functioning properly with a good flash. Will try reloading that firmware again, once I feel up to it. I expect a lot of error flashes, and a bit of fighting with flash tool versions.
oddly enough I installed an ATV firmware that seemed easy to install, but am having flash issues again. Eventually I hope to have the AM3 flash working on my box some time, to see how good it really is.
