    NEXT7P12GP Brick YFG1212

    I've pored over this forum up, down and sideways and am so frustrated. I had finally rooted my 7P12GP and was enjoying the slimmed down system when I got greedy and used Titanium Backup to move apps to the External SD. Apparently, I moved something I shouldn't have and lost my system. I've tried everything I could think of at this point to get back to zero with no avail. Does someone, anyone, anywhere have a stock recovery ROM that can be flashed? Anyone? Anyone? I realize I'm not the first to ask, but I'm at my wits end with this thing.

    Is this the 7 inch Amlogic based Nextbook with Google Play from Walmart? I expect to release a stock ROM package from a system dump in the near future...

      This is the 7 inch AMLogic Nextbook that was sold at Big Lots. I picked it up back in April. I've never had an android device cause me so much consternation. I'm not a neophyte, but I'm not a developer either. I'm more of a dangerously informed enthusiast. I figured this tablet would be easy just like my Polaroid 7 inch. I liked the clock numbers, the glass screen.. Heck, I liked that it had a camera. When I saw that even Nextbook didn't offer a downloadable update for this particular version I knew I was in trouble. And talk about unhelpful "tech support". Yeesh!

        I'm pretty sure that is the same model that Walmart sells. I expect to have a modified stock recovery, stock ROM and flashable root package available soon.

        I don't have one of this model, but I have the older Next8P12 without Google Apps and the newer Next8P8HD8G with Google Apps. I like the hardware, but the software support is severely lacking.

          I'll be anxiously awaiting your ROM. It will DEFINITELY not be unappreciated. I, like I'm sure others, tried your 8P12 flashable on my 7P12 just in the off chance that it may work. I tried so many ROMS from variants of this model/"maker" that are out there by searching the web, only to be let down at the signature verification fail. I seriously considered pitching the damned thing, altogether. Cooler thinking prevailed, after seeing your work on the 8P12 and your mention that a 7 was coming. (breathe... breathe... all will get better... hahah) Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the cause, Shaun.

            A bit of advice... a rom from a different sized tablet is very unlikely to display correctly.

            I'm waiting for some files from someone with your model and then it won't take long to package the modified recovery and stock rom, especially considering I don't have the correct model to do any testing!
