[H96 PRO PLUS DC ADAPTER] Which one is right?

My DC adapter output is 5V 2.5A.
But the other brand two tv box are 5V 2A. Is there a problem with 5V 2A in H96 PRO PLUS?
I want to use 5V 2A, if there is no problem.

If you can believe the markings on the 2.5 that its actually 2.5 Amps.
    Should be OK...

    But as always your choice

      Hi ,

5V/2000mah is a little bit low for this Boxes , maybe u can then not use external Storage ,

      better is 5V/3000mah .

      good luck / gefattern

        thank you sir.

I have extra 2 usb ports. So, I should use 2500mAh or more high.

Can you share a link tp the power supply your using?

I have found a ton of "laptop" type power supplies, but not sure about connector sizing, or polarity (positive/negative) of them.

Plan on using a 5v 6a one if I can find it......

Size has been ...debated for ages...
I have an adapter kit that indicates tip #4 or #5 (less snug) meaningless really.

            Somebody get their micrometer out..

            Polarity for our adapters.

I'm gonna leave the "size" jokes alone.....

Seems most of these laptop types have 2.1mm connectors, and have "+" inside and "-" outside. 5v 6a seem to be under $10.

You could look for a Beefy USB charging Brick that can handle a few Amps (3 amp) and get some cables like below

5.5 x 2.1 is often the most common,
but many boxes have different sizes and then size does matter

As seen also 2 sizes, in the 5.5mm range,

Did anyone every measure theirs, to find out if it's 2.1 or 2.5mm?

                    For Alfawise H96 Pro + is 5,5 x 2,1 (tuning fork)

You can also replacing the capacitors of the adapter. For me it was a big search for adapters with 5V/3000mah. The local stores don't have it all. So the second option is soldering new capacitors with 16V 1000uF. I saw someone has done it on YouTube and it worked. Those capacitors are less than 1€ euro. See https://youtu.be/BL05PrgvO0E
