anyway i'm using a SD netflix version, found on youtube and without any permission request, that works with tvbox remote.
    Better than nothing

ps. remember to disable updates from google market if you have stock android. in my case isn't necessary because play store is for androidtv and this app is for stock android

Of course! But nothing specific is written there. I need some tv box brands and models for example .

You can install different skins for Kodi and even change the view layout from the left side to not have lists.

    Lots of Android emulators
Using Android apps on a PC is quite needful for some. Here's a list of the best Android emulators for PC including Windows, Mac, and Linux.

    Eg. Bluestacks
L'émulateur Android et la plateforme de Cloud Gaming les plus rapides et les plus légers au monde. Jouez à des jeux mobiles sur Windows et Mac. Parfait pour les jeux de rôle, de stratégie et d'action.

You can just install it as a program or even get Android OS's like Bliss that can run from a flash drive on a Windows tv box or PC.

I don't think ATV "kludgey", maybe it still has few apps in my opinion.

Use Windows as media center is the same as use it in a tablet in its tablets version... Still not useful!

I have it on my laptop, which is a full blown server. Just haven't used it for TV in years since using a Samsung tablet to stream to my TV using miracast, which allowed me to mess with the tablet while watching what ever on my telly. Since for about a year, now on a dedicated android TV box, and it's been good and bad. Mostly because of Google, and the lack of full support in getting a proper interface.

The best route was basic box modded with a basic ATV patch, to allow all phone apps to fully function with ATV apps. This allowed any launcher i chose, which made the interface near perfect. Now that ATV apps are being updated to use Google streaming strategies they don't play well on older s912 boxes and phone based os.

i am going to check on replacing some system files to fix the recent issues found wih newly released app updates. I think the issue is with ATV framework, and i may be able to swap some phone frameworks into place. Depending on kernel used.

The only two firmwares for s912 that look promising is eye TV and ultimate ATV experience. Though they require a bit of stripping down to base firmware, since at least one is based on phone framework already, since it is most compatible than year old firmwares that many are running.

As for voice, never used it both on android phone and box. Just find it annoying more than a benefit. I rarely search anyway, as my programme guide keeps track of releases that I watch, and has an upcoming release page that covers all videos of what will be available in a months time or so.

If I were a Netflix fan boy, maybe the search function will be a benefit, because Netflix has krappy interface for programmes.

Anywho there is nothing Netflix has that I can't watch live on date of release or find on my streaming apps for free, or paid for on my Internet TV subscription. Though i need 40 streaming apps to cover all the channels, instead just using Netflix.

I guess it's an apples and oranges comparison.

Just close Kodi and you can have Windows 10 or Linux or even install an Android Emulator to run Android apps again.

Can you class action against Mecool for false advertising(Netflix HD, Widevine L1)?, or is trying to sue an offshore a fruitless pursuit?
