For some reason no firmware works by flashing through the installer...If I use the one from 201803 it says it can't install because It is older than the one installed. All the other ones give me an error 7 saying they are for m8s pro w and this device is a plus W (which is not). How to solve this??

Tested v0213 factory firmware for blue mainboard, flashing over system or factory recovery from SD or USB
This update limits the whole system to 720p for better CPU temperature.

So what I understand is Netflix is working in HD resolution. What Version you are using to get it working? And how did you flash it .? Is Twrp working if you are using magendaz rom? Thanks colbaip.

Hello, another disillusioned owner of M8S Pro W ver2.3 here (well, overheating, bad wifi reception, general sluggishness of the system).
I've been wanting to test Guest 's latest nexus nano on my device, but before installing it for good I wanted to give it a 'test drive' by running it off either USB or sd card.
I've spent many hours scouring through freaktab (and elsewhere) for solution on dual booting (emmc / sd) without installing. There were options such as u-boot, libreelec, linux distros of all flavors, but no conclusive and definite answer as to whether this is possible and how it's done.
AFAIK, the key is in prepping the sd card with bootable code (so to speak) and then raw copying .img to it.

If any kind soul would be willing to share more detailed instructions (and tools) on dual booting, I'd be more than grateful.

Hi I have a M8S Pro W with this hardware revision 2.2. I followed the procedure and was able to install the rom and to launch it. However I am facing issues with the wifi. It seems like the wifi is not starting and the it is not listed in the interface list (I checked that in a terminal).
Is anyone facing this issue.
If it can help, my wifi chip is different from the one mentionned in the first post. Mine is SVG051P instead of SVG051G.

It appears stock version of the new magendaz created build for our model is working as mentioned in the post https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...857#post763857 However, TWRP is having some problems and hence OTA file of the new magendaz firmware build is not working. Netflix HD working or not, is till not confirmed anywhere.

Ok i must buy second cable. But i Think drivers its not a problem because computer dont recognize any new device after connect box to any usb slot. With oraz without short-circuit pins. Only red LED is light.
