Some GTKING arriving may or may not have Launcher issues with weather widget this is a new APK and Firmware.

Depends on when they Flashed the Firmware on the Box you received I guess.

$ 110/120 for what the hell out!

The shield plays EVERYTHING, all the audio HD codecs and Video codecs, even the VC-1 codec.......... Of course even the older $40 Amlogic S905 SoC's running LibreELEC/CoreELEC, plays EVERYTHING and all the HD audio codecs......

I highly doubt this $$$$ box can compete against those ** cheapie ** boxes running CoreELEC, which is a shame.

You might be able to have your audio pass-through, I believe the shield does that. You can always figure that out when your box comes in.

I believe in the roadmap for 2019, the next batch of chipsets should support Dolby Atmos as well as others, but that was like the S905X3 and others to follow.

GT King can't play with DTS HD MA, Dolby ATMOS.
So I am back to beelink SEA I with rom from Probox2 AVA.
On SEA I sound HD works very well for me.

That is a shame, at that price, it should play ALL the audio AND video codecs. Amlogic struggles with the video VC-1 codec............
