I know why some boxes do not have notification access, and its because they are not running stock android, they are running Android Go. I kept trying to figure out the notification access problem, and I kept getting results about Android Go OS, so I did some research on Android Go, and sure enough Android Go is designed without notification access, and has also had other features removed as well. Its to make the OS more snappy, or at least that is what Google says. I am 100% sure that is the problem, a lot of us are simply running Android Go which is the lightweight version of Android.
