what is the best box out that will allow custom OS install

what is everyone using these days? what is the best box out there right now?

Beelink GT-mini has the most custom Android ROMs if you search here on FreakTab. So I would conclude that would be the best choice to get for the mid-range price point. In my opinion, though, the absolute best device would have to be the Khadas VIM3, which Superceleron already released Standard Android and AndroidTV roms for it, besides the factory ROMs available direct from Khadas for Android or Linux. Khadas boxes are "D.I.Y." development boards, but with added case and heatsink will outperform the more generic TvBox's, but they do cost more too.

i am not too sure if there are custom roms for this device. i don't mind getting a GT-mini and do a custom rom on it but if a newwer model is out like the one above, then it is a good idea too get a newer model.
