Sorry, it was my mistake. I was talking about T95z plus not pro. And its the S912 2/16 version.

Yes you can install Magisk through TWRP by flashing the image of magisk_patched_new.img by selecting the boot partition.

BEFORE/(First?) you have to delete the root by always flashing in TWRP UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip
This is version 20.3 of Magisk, after you must update it by downloading the ZIP version 20.4 from the Magisk Manager application or by downloading it HERE.

And then flash the ZIP with TWRP

**A bit obscure from description. Give it a try if you are testing and report success?**

***Maybe you might need to patch the img for your China Box here: https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/i...atching-images ***

    3. Is your power adapter good: 5v - 3amp (I was sold a China Box with 1.5 amp adapter, under-spec) . A 2.5 amp adapter is nominal, mindful of the quality.

Most (all?) firmwares are based on khadas or Davietpda kernel.

You will have to flash again...guaranteed! Fresh is better! Micro stutters or flickering would ruin the experience.
If you are desperate to not flash, try turning off noise reduction in the build.prop system file. There are several lines to change. There is also another system file to modify "NR" setting ...I forget which one

I'm using Slimbox v10.2 and it has been the best so far. H96Pro+ LPDDR3 3/32

***Slimbox v10.3 is based on Ugoos kernel(?) which I am tempted to test in the next week or so. ***
Thanks, talked to bumerc he said FLICKER issue is due to compiling issue, fix has to be done from source.

I flashed Davietpda beta2 9733 runs smooth, everything is working except for PiP ...I can live with that...BT and wifi working, Youtube no Green Screen! No flicker!

    Andrey6666 ,
I did a quick search but did not find the immediate info/link.
If I'm not wrong( ) It is possible that you have the "Black" PCB board. With no support given after manufacture.

I can't tell you how many times I have "Bricked" a box while testing and tweaking!

If you need android Pie(9) you may have to modify with Amlogic tools.
    1. Copy and store to SD card your WiFi drivers from current firmware -Android 7.
    2. Get version of Pie that seems suitable(newest).
    3. Get Amlogic Tools v6
    4. Upack your original firmware and copy and store your DTB and BOOTLOADER,DDR and UBOOT https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?show...#entry80540305
    5. Repack Android 9 with original DTB bootloader etc.(4 files?) from your previous Android 7 firmware
    6. Get Amlogic USB Burn Tool and deselect "erase bootloader" checkbox.
    7. Flash your firmware and hope for the best.
**You might choose to pay someone..depending on your needs**

    AMlogic Tools v6.0.0.

If I find the proper firmware(or really close enough)...I'll post.

Maybe the reference in the firmware section to: H96 Pro+ HS2734A (Android 7) can be used as your base before upgrading To Pie? But will "Pie" Kernel still have code for HS2734A ???

    Mod 3
    DDR3 / DDR4
    • fixed flickering cursor issue
    • Removed code that overwrite recovery when installing custom recovery
    • added support for 1/2/3 gb of memory for use on other consoles with the same hardware

    LPDDR3 3Gb only:
    100 Mbit LAN:
    update_khadas_pie_multiwifi_20200711_arm64_LPDDR_1 00Mbit_ATV.img
    1Gbit LANBOX6D_update_khadas_pie_multiwifi_20200711_arm64_L PDDR3_ATV.img

I have ddr3. will these firmware be suitable for my set-top box? I won't get a brick ? does this firmware have a driver for my Wi Fi HS2734 ?
