I'm wondering if anyone knows if you can throw a ROM on a CHROMEBOX CXI3? I can't seem to find anything, but if it's Chromium OS, isn't that what Android is based on?

So, Most of these devices have Bios and write protect
On your device.. you can bypass the protection it seems ( and install many oprating systems )
Google search : chrome OS forks
I have dabbled in changing OS.. only ones.. when the kringloop store got one chromebook
that was no longer supported..anyways goodluck -
Much appreciated. I just thought it may have been a viable option for a media player, based on the processor specs, and that the RAM and M2 SSD were replaceable. Appreciate the input.Comment
