I hope someone can help me. I have Mecool K5 and there are various software issues with this set top box. The biggest problem is when recording a program on DVB T2/S2 on the DTV app and then switching to something else like KODI or youtube, the recording stops. I disabled battery optimization in the settings, but no change. It seems to be bad software from the manufacturer. Also I don't believe this to be normal behavior on android, even the simplest smart tv's can record a program and do something else at the same time. Does anybody else encountered such issues with their android devices and did you manage to fix it? I thank you for any advice you may have.
Also, as a side note, I've encountered something strange, not an issue exactly. I scanned for DVB-T2 and S2 programs and saved them. After plugging out the antenna for DVB-T2, I can still watch channels on this tuner. Even the DTV app info says it's T2 and not S2. I can confirm that this are in fact T2 channels and not S2, and the app really says T2. Can the tuner see the channels without an antenna and just needs to know the location of channels first?
