Pre-info :
my sim is from 2003 pre-paid
the phone is only used for phone calls and banking 2FA and is 4g capable
and has no nfc..never installed a banking app on it
sms : on March 2022 we are discontinuing 3G
sms : your phone is using 3G, your phone maybe to old.. order a new one here
sms : your sim card is to old, order a new one here for free...you keep your phone number
I order a new sim.. two days later i get it... ( i Google the sim and it costs 33euro? it has nfc)
i place it in the phone..and activate it...and indeed...its 4G
sms: from my bank : you cannot use your banking app for 24h while we procces your simcard change
Isn't it neat how much a phone carrier or even your bank knows about you
