Hey guys I've been on and off here, mostly off, for a long time. I'm good with using the burning tools to update firmwares but I'm looking for the latest firmwares with the newest Android versions for the ones I got that still work fine.
What I have:
R-Box Pro S912 3GB/32GB - currently Android 6.0 build date of 11/18/2016 - mostly works fine but some apps won't install from the Play Store, it occasionally freezes but not more than 2-3 times in a month, some streaming apps load but have sound but no video (HBO Max ), Prime Video works but crashes if I try to use the search function
KIII S905 2GB/16GB - Android 6.0 no idea what date but this box mostly works with occasional freezing, but almost none of the streaming apps load from the Play Store and if side loaded they don't run right
A95X R1 S905W 2GB/16GB - Android 7.1.2, don't remember what issues but it looks like almost no apps are compatible from the Play Store - this one may have Batocera written all over it
Mecool HM8 gold box S905X 1GB/8GB - Android 6.0 - constant freezing up, may also be bound for Batocera or RetroArch
So anyway, any help in finding better firmware is appreciated. I hate to have to buy a new box just to watch the same old crap on Netflix. Fun fact, I still have an MK808 that works flawless for an Android 4.1.2 device!
