Anybody tried this with a mk808b?

Working perfectly on MK808b with finless 1.7 1080p kernel. Perfect 1080p playback of up to 20mbps h.264 movie with 5.1 DTS. I did not try the pass through since I don't have anything to play the sound on.
This is the best setup I found so far. To make it even better would be to have this XBMC has the Android Launcher. There is already one in another thread but does not seem to have the pass through hack.

sound but no picture

Hello I am really frustrated ha
I unistalled xbmc because some of the films were stuttering so I decided to install spmc. I have sound but no picture. Anyone know why that could be?
I used the mx player on xbmc by changing the playercore.xml which I have also tried with the spmc no luck. Something smells fishy. ... Any ideas.

Here is the advancedsettings.xml file I'm currently using with SPMC. Some of the settings have been lately included in the app default settings, but since I have used this file with many different versions of XBMC/SPMC, I have not taken anything out:

I think the <cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize> parameter makes common cache plugin to fail on startup - thus making icefilms not work, does it make sense?

I tested the IceFilms plugin and it appears to be the <pathsubstitution> parameter rather than the cache size one which is not compatible with commoncache.

thanks for the links! just an update on my testing of this... works like a CHARM on my Rikomagics, both my MK802IIIs and MK802IV. in fact better than any xbmc build I've tried (and I've tried a LOT of builds, lol). Thanks a lot for this!

Can just confirm, best smooth working xbmc build until now, working in my Finless1.7a MK908v3!

If the Android sound settings don't include passthrough as an output option, you won't get multi-channel sound. In addition, for SPMC, you'd need a patched libmedia.so library. There probably isn't one for any of the MK908II ROMs.

No, it just means that your device is able to pass (multi-channel) sound through the HDMI interface. You can test this with e.g. the stock RockChip player or MX Player. XBMC/SPMC still requires the hacked libmedia library for passthrough.

Hello, i have a mk809III rk3188.
How to install xstream?
I downloadet all in one repo for Frodo12.x: http://superrepo.org/get-started/add...ory-as-source/

Then i go on system and install the Repo from zip file.
Then i go on Video Addons and installed xstream.
When i want to start a movie it coms allways a error massage.
"script error plugin.video.xstream"

Have you tried 'JustXBMC' by Lewy20041? that's been working smooth for me so far. I haven't tried any 1080p content though.

Do you know where i can get an XML that will make spmc play everything with bsplayer?
Its the only player i can get to play everything smoothly on my ROM.

Hello,

I have a X7 with QS 3.1 Rom.

With Xbmc I have had the 10min. Freeze in 1080p on Mashup.

With SPMC the bug is gone. But now the problem is, I can't get DD. I only hear "white noise"
When I disable passthrough I hear sound, but no DD.

Is there a fix.
