tvheadend dont add this rom help me

I loaded or upraged NEW - Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.8 ROM. perfect playing livetv of recorded ts files. I cant add tvheadent. beacuse I try to copy sytem/etc modules, init.d and firmwara of tvheadend files. Es explorer said no enough space. How can I fix.
I want to try live hd streams ts of tvheadend. dont write system folder. How I can add this rom.
and assist for livetv HD streaming pls. may be add codech library

Dear,
the tv box with version 1.7 en 1.8 reset automatically when I am running a game. I tried this with the game GT RACING 2, tv box shut's down and I cannot start the tv box without plugging off the cable.. Should I send the minix Neo to the manufacturer or could it be a software bug like a bug in the operating system... Are u familiar with this problem? Hope that u can help me.. Kind regards,

Airpin for Finless Rom

Great ROM, first thing I do when get hold of my X7, working great since.

Contacted AirPin author recently, and here is what have changed:

We do not support non-official ROM for AirPin PRO since last month according to the license from MINIX.
There are three ways for you to continue using AirPin PRO(These are from MINIX official support):
1. Using official MINIX ROM;
2. Pay US$4.9 extra buying the AirPin (PRO) app. under the Finless ROM;
3. Modify the build.prop of the Finless ROM back to MINIX’s;

So if the ROM could be updated to use Minix device id (3), that would be great!

OC KERNEL

there's just one small problem with the OC kernels nothing serious but deserves to be mentioned, when I'm on OC kernels, my AIRMOUSE MINIX A2 is not fluid over four meters.
I think it's because the usb ports are a bit of juice, overclocked CPU must pump all, lol I'm not an expert, just logically. this should be correctable.
MINIX A2 is generally capricious with keys that repeat, I do not know if this is the ROM or the MINIX.

video playback problem...

hi guys and thanks for all the hard work on the ROMs

i installed finless 1.8 just now and all went well however (inevitably) i have a problem - all videos i try to playback now quit after a few minutes of playback

these are files that played without problem on the exact same equipment using the stock 5.whatever firmware

any clues? i have read *all* the forum posts but haven't seen this issue mentioned

the files are simple avi files of about 450Mb in size being played from an external HDD plugged into the USB port - like i said, exactly the same as before the firmware update

[edit] hmmmmm seems it plays fine from an ext sdcard so i reflashed with standard kernel to see if it is a power thing with the usb drive - will post results when i've tested

[edit2] ok so that made no difference - still just crashes out of the video player after 5 or 10 minutes, regardless of which video player i'm using - back to stock 5.whatever then i guess *sigh*

[edit3] so back to 6c stock firmware (without root *sniff sniff*) and videos play from my USB drive no problem - any idea what on earth is going on?

copy firmware to system/etc
copy modules to system/lib
copy init.d to system/etc
I want to try tvheadend capability finless1.8 rom but dont write anything becuse explorer says "no enoug space"
otherhand dvb files copy to /data no probblem.

You would need to read up in the http://www.freaktab.com/forumdisplay...ds-Development forum. Use either the details in Finless's thread or my kitchen. You will need some Linux skills.

I will have to make a bigger system.img. However another thought might be to put the drivers in /data and add a symlink to them in /etc.

Also there are a ton of drivers in /etc that are not used. You can delete them to get some space.

Have a T428, and flashed it with the finless 1.8 rom. Since then I have not been able to get it work (tv says connection problem). I have been trying to flash various oc'd roms, and even the original again without any results.

Please someone help me debug the problem.

Make sure to erase the nand twice at least. I would download the rom again just to be sure the download was ok. Also select all the components to flash using the tool again. Don't just hit flash before doing so. Let us know how it goes!

Hello,

I don't view myself as a noob when it comes to rooting/recovering and flashing roms.. Seeing that I have done it to an HTC EVO, HTC EVO 3d, Acer A500 and Samsung S3... but this Minix x7 has me stumped.

So my question.. how do you root? Flash recovery? and Flash a rom? With the lack of post about these subject.. I wonder if they are even need? A noob guide would be nice.

I want to flash this ROM.
