Hi all, the new "xbmcminix-armeabi-v7a_12.4.0.apk",
that is in the new firmware "NEO_X7_20140101.zip (008)",
works perfectly in ROM "Minix X7 HFW 3.1 by lewy20041", without change.

Hi lewy, had an interesting problem the other day, has happened before too.

For some reason my box would not boot just sit there with the MINIX logo in the top left kernel of the screen.
-booted into recovery fine and wiped cache, I then tried to wipe the davik cache but then recovery would freeze?
-I then re-flashed the stock kernel and boot.IMG from your ROM via recovery (thought maybe got corrupted) 720p (was using 1080p)

Rebooted and still did not boot; stuck with MINIX x logo, top left of the screen.then I tried again but flashing the 1080p kernel I was previously using.

In the end I did a full restore from an earlier backup then device booted up fine and I could wipe divik cache again no problem.

When the unit is booting fine theminix logo appears in the top left corner of the screen for a second then centers. Also I typically get this problem when I switch TV sets with the device. Do you know what the problem could be?

Also I am using your kernels.

Thanks. I tried crude way to backup from 008 and then restore to 006c....doesn't seems to work on stock 006c either...


Reason is 006 is the only version which doesn't breaks HULU and a host of other streaming app.
