Looking for a good quality Android tablet with a retina screen of around 10" for under $300. Other specs I am looking at are 2Gb RAM (nice but maybe not necessary), 32Gb flash, GPS, HDMI, Android 4.2, reasonable battery life (say 9 hrs), 3G not necessary as not likely to be used.
At the moment the best I have found is the Pipo M6-Pro which seems to have everything I am looking for and has some good reviews but most of which were six months ago, it doesn't seem to be getting much mention of late.
Just wondering if there is anything that has been released since which is a better buy than the Pipo M6?
BTW, there are three models about PIPO M6, one is PIPO M6 and the others are PIPO M6 PRO and PIPO M6 MAX, the cpu frequency is different. Pipo M6 is out of date already.
With it could help you and tell me if you have any other confusion about it.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that difference I thought the Max and the Pro were the same. It seems that the M6 Max is the faster machine:
M6 Pro: Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9,1.6GHz,Quad-core
M6 Max: Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9,1.8GHz,Quad-core
But the factory doesn't mention the Max only the Pro (Q977). Does that mean the Max has been discontinued and only the Pro is still available. If so why stop making the faster M6 Max?

pipo m6 max is available now. maybe the selling amount is not so big like m6 pro so that they don't mention the MAX.
Pipo MAX M6 and Pipo M6 are the same device!! And it always comes with 1.6 Ghz which is the standard frequency for Rockchip RK3188. Don't get confused

yeah, and the OC kernel which you'll find on these forums really gives M6 a nice boost.the CPU to 1704mhz, The GPU and ram are O/C as well, i think 660mhz, 800mhz for the ram.
