Yeah, it's really good in benchmarks, but as far as i know there's a bit of lag with its UI. I'm considering to buy it, since I'll use my tablet mostly for reading and web browsing, so 4:3 should be the right one for me. I just hope there will be some good firmwares for it in the near future to persuade me. I still don't know whether to buy it or not.... Battery could be a problem...

The hardware is awesome: very fast, amazing retina screen, lightweight and thin.
All games run blazing fast. Battery life is not bad, but not amazing.

But it desperately needs a custom rom, because the UI is very sluggish and browsing the web is excruciatingly slow...
With a better rom, it could be the best Chinese tablet so far!

Hi just thought I would give you a small review of my v975m flashed with android 1.6 ROM have rooted' it is very smooth and quick great tab there are a few problems you tube very gittery chrome has problems but others work fine Skype crashes when you try to make a call. But apart from these few problems it is an amazing tab, and will be even better when custom ROMs becomes avalible for it. Got round the you tube problem by using super tube from the market. Hope this helps.

Just a small tip: try to install Skype version 2.8.0.920, look for it on Google, it should help you!

EDIT: Also 3.2.0 should be fine!

Received it today, most of programs is in chinese.

hi just a further small update have flashed android 1.6 tried 1.7 but did not seem to be any difference but more lagy. still you tube stuttering so using supper tube, appears to work with dolphin browser though. Google movies and tv still does not work when you try to watch a movie just bufferting all the time, every thing els works great realy flies no problem surfing the net have rooted it so got rid of all the Chinese apps that you don't need As I have said when these bugs are sorted and a decent rom is out this will be a brilliant tab. Hope this has helped.

Had mine for about a month. I love the hardware specs. v975m.com/forum site dedicated to this tablet.
Ànxious for a ROM that will not throttle @ 1.6 GHz. Loving this tablet so far, several odd things need addressed, one of the fastest I have seen.

Hi just flashed the kit kat beta ROM still very smooth and fast you tube now working but Skype and Google movies still not working also the SD card problem has come back when the tab comes out of sleep mode, apart from these working great.
