Most annoing thing for me is DTS/multi channel issue via SPDIF in Kodi.
Is it firmware bug or xbmc drivers issue? What do you think?Comment

Contacts - It's because people asked and it should work but alas I may not get it working because the ROM is stripped of it's phone functions, lock screen, etc. I got it syncing actually but the contacts APP crashes. I may give up though for now and work on other stuff.
As for DTS and SPDIF, can't do much with that right now... We will have to wait for AW for that fix.

showbox / popcorn / videomixpro
Showbox is a wonderful netflix replacement and I used it alot. I have it running on my tablet/mk808b and mk902ii. I bought this new tronsmart draco aw80 unit and I can install showbox but it isn't working. I have tried coping some of the files off of a working unit to this unit and I got further but it still won't work. I have tried both the factory rom and this rom and it won't work.
Bob I know your a busy man but can you help me to get showbox to run on your ROM for this unit.
popcorn doesn't load and start any movies as well. -- not my favorite app, but its a backup to showbox
videomixpro -- better then popcorn as far as performance but it also only partially works for me on this unit.
This is what I get with showbox
Clean install of the apk. Once I start the app I get connection error popup. once I hit ok the app closes.
I then copied some files from a working unit to this unit.
/data/data/com.tdo.showbox and /sdcard/android/com.tdo.showbox
now I don't get the connection error. The app loads, I can see all the updated pics for movies/tv shows and episodes.
For movies I get server error when I attempt to watch a movie.
for TV Shows I get starting to load then just goes back to the app as if I didn't press anything.
Any help you can give to have this app (showbox) as part of your Rom and have it working would be great.

Showbox has been having a lot of problems lately with compatibility!
Try older APK's etc.
I will look into it later.

I just installed a older version of Showbox on my 1.1 ROM.
It ran and asked me if I wanted to update it. I said yes and updated it.
It ran fine. I selected a movie and after a minute it popped up a dialog asking what app I wanted to use to play the video. I chose the tvd video player. I kept getting an IO error. It appears some of the movies don't work... e.g. the link is dead. Finally found a TV show that worked so showbox works on V1.1.
Also don't use the internal video player (the frame with the purple colors in it) as it doesn't work.
You might also install MX Player to use for playback.
Did not check popcorn time. Not sure where to even get it.
